Six months ago I started the journey of setting up my own business. It was scary. I had moments of panic.
Half a year later I am sitting in a room with HRH The Duke of Cambridge, three comedy superstars, an Oscar winner, a BBC Breakfast host and a variety of the world's largest brands watching a Britain's Got Talent Winner performing an unplanned sword trick with the future King of England....all in an event I have helped support.
Flying solo is hard. In fact, it is the hardest thing I have ever done. Anyone who tells you otherwise is not being truthful.
It is, however, exciting. You never know what the next phone call will bring or what the next e-mail will include.
So, to all the the people out there who are freelancers, sole traders and small businesses - I salute you. It is tough, but I don't think I would change it for the world!
